The Soil to Society Baking Series is a professional-level workshop series that will blend agriculture and nutrition science education with hand-on baking instruction.
We will pair a baker, chef and/or culinary professional with a scientist from each of the disciplines in our Soil to Society Pipeline: plant breeding, soil health, food science, human health, population health. Together, they will teach a full-day, hands-on workshop.
each workshop will take place at the WSU Breadlab in Burlington, WA, from 9a-3p and will include a thoughtful, nutritious lunch prepared on site.
